In February 2022, Igor Bilous joined Flashpoint as a Managing Partner responsible for fundraising and exits.

Igor began his career at a Kiev-based M&A boutique, where from 2000 to 2004, he was involved in privatization projects in telecoms, power generation, and distribution sectors. In 2005, he moved to UBS investment bank, focusing on structuring and executing numerous M&A, Equity Capital Markets (IPO & SPO), and Fixed-Income transactions, including private placements, Eurobonds, and liability management. He oversaw Investment Banking and Wealth Management activities at UBS's Ukrainian branch. In 2011, Igor became the Head of Investment Banking at Renaissance Capital, responsible for Ukraine and Central and Eastern Europe.

In March 2014, Igor Bilous was appointed First Deputy Head of the Ministry of Revenues and Duties of Ukraine, subsequently becoming the Head of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine. From 2015 to 2017, he served as the Head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, where he implemented transparent privatization initiatives, introduced e-auctions and Dutch auctions for selling illiquid assets, and developed a new privatization law adopted by Parliament in late 2017.

Igor Bilous holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Finance and Accounting from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle, UK, and a Master’s degree in International Economics from the Kiev National University of Economics, Ukraine. He is fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, and English.
