Flashpoint Venture Capital Increases Presence in Israel, Welcomes Noam Wolf as Partner

Tel Aviv, Israel – 16 November 2023 – Flashpoint Venture Capital, an international tech investment manager with over $400 million AUM focused on tech companies originating out of Israel and Europe, is pleased to announce that Noam Wolf has joined the firm as a Partner. Noam will be based in Tel Aviv, further reinforcing Flashpoint’s commitment to growing in Israel.

He joins Flashpoint after a successful tenure as the Founder and CEO at MarketMan, a leading inventory management and supplier automation platform for the restaurant industry. Notably, Flashpoint made one of its largest exits to date, selling its stake in MarketMan to PSG, and seeing an extraordinary return on the investment.

Since 2016, Flashpoint has invested a total of over US$60 million in 13 Israeli companies. Since then the firm has made 4 exits, returning c. US$25 million and currently have an active portfolio of 9, including Guesty, Particula (GoCube), Mize, Mesh Payments, K2View, Gaviti, Webeyez, Trusstor, and Bllink

As Noam assumes his role, the firm is poised to continue its mission of supporting innovative startups and entrepreneurs in Israel and beyond. Flashpoint remains committed to fostering growth and innovation in the Israeli technology ecosystem.

Noam Wolf 

Noam Wolf is an accomplished CEO renowned for his transformative work in the restaurant and technology sectors. With a career spanning telecommunications, mobile gaming, and multimedia technologies, Noam’s expertise is wide-ranging.

Starting as a Sales Manager at Flash Networks, Noam’s early career immersed him in telecommunications and network technologies. His passion for innovation led him to found Mintmark, where he pioneered mobile internet services and content distribution. 

Venturing into mobile gaming as a Sales Manager at PixelPlay, Noam deepened his tech expertise. In 2012, he founded SayWhat Labs and co-founded The Restaurant Network in 2015, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit.

However, it’s his role as CEO of MarketMan since July 2012 that’s truly transformative. MarketMan’s platform has reimagined restaurant and hospitality operations, empowering small businesses with tools for inventory management and performance analysis on par with industry giants.

He holds a BA in Computer Science and Business Management from the Open University of Israel.
