Flashpoint Invites SaaS Startups to Summer SaaS – a Top Online Tech Event that Brings Together the Entire Tech Ecosystem in Israel and Europe
Having started as a pitching venue for seed and post-seed SaaS startups to hundreds of top-tier seed and series A stage investors, the event has grown into a full-scale conference.
Flashpoint, an international tech investment manager with approx. $400 million AUM, is organizing the 4th annual SummerSaaS Venture Capital Forum and Startup Competition with founders from Europe and Israel.
SummerSaaS seeks to bring the entire European tech ecosystem together with a common goal to build global companies for the benefit of all. The conference is scheduled for June 20, 2023 in an online format.
To date, SummerSaaS has brought 2,600+ participants, 750+ venture capitalists, 140+ angel investors together, and 250+ speakers from around the world. To attend SummerSaaS 2023, you can get your free ticket here.
The SummerSaaS 2023 conference will feature:
- Expert discussions from Partners of leading VC firms on the following topics: Post-VC: How does slower capital deployment impact early stage startups? Why VD is a great tool in any market?Should companies support recycling of their cap tables?
- SaaS startups pitching in the following tracks: Vertical, Horizontal, HealthTech, Fintech and Developer tools;
- Startup Alley, which showcases the pitch decks from all startups that competed in the pitch competition. Startup Alley helped a number of startups to raise their rounds last year having been noticed at the breakout event;
- Networking opportunities with the VCs and other SaaS startups.
Back in 2022, SummerSaas successfully brought together Vibranium, a Silicon Valley VC, and PicUp, an Israeli startup. Showcasing the power of the event in creating future relationships and investments.
There was also success back in 2020 when winners Cyscale, a Romanian cybersecurity startup raised $3.6M following its participation in SummerSaas and Sellforte, a Finnish startup securing a $5.4M investment from Bonnier VC, Icebraker VC and Bright Pixel.
SaaS startup founders can submit their online pitch via the SummerSaaS registration page. Those applying require a monthly recurring revenue between $10k and $100k, and/or raised between $0.3m and $3m.
Flashpoint will identify the strongest 25 startups to pitch to a panel of leading European and Global VCs, with one winner from each track progressing to the final. A selected group of 5 finalists will present before a Grand Finale VC judging panel. From the 5 finalists, one will be picked as the winner.
Last year’s panel included such pan-european names as 3VC, 500 startups, Brightcap Ventures, Cherry Ventures, Credo, DayOne, Dell Capital, EarlyGame, FilRouge, GR Capital, Inovo, Inventure, LaunchHub, Lighthouse, Market One Capital, Oktogon VC, OTB, Portfolion, Presto, SMOK VC, South Central, SpeedInvest, Superhero Capital, UNIQA Ventures, Vendep and Venture Friends.
Anton Fedorov, Partner at Flashpoint Venture Capital, said: “SummerSaaS continues to thrive thanks to its strong sense of purpose. The event was originally conceived to bring founders, investors and arrangers together. It was designed with the SaaS VC ecosystem in mind. The entire community benefits from the event’s common goal to help build global companies. The event is free to attend and we welcome new participants – there will certainly be much to discuss as the changing backdrop for early stage funding places greater emphasis for VC engagement.”
